About Veterans Corner

Gregory (Greg) Ganier, a Disabled Navy Veteran of the “Vietnam War”, a Veteran Advocate and Founder & President of the Tax-exempt Louisiana Non-profit organization called Veterans Corner, Incorporated (VCI), created in November 2015.

Prior to establishing the nonprofit organization in 2015, Greg worked for the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) as an Employment Representative and as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) employment representative.  As a DVOP, Greg attended the National Veteran Training Institute (NVTI) in Denver, Colorado.

After leaving the LWC, Greg partnered with Southwest Louisiana Business Outreach Center, a non-profit entity as the Program Coordinator.  In that position, Greg was responsible for setting up seminars and workshops for veterans around the state and was one of the instructors.

Greg worked with and is currently a member of the Acadiana Open Channel (AOC) television broadcast station, located in Lafayette, Louisiana.  The relationship between Veterans Corner and AOC has provided another valuable alternative to informing veterans and their families about programs and information that they were not aware of.  Also, informing the community of the types of barriers that veterans face.

Greg developed and created a half hour television program called “Veterans Corner”. It aired on Cox channel 15/16.  The mission was and is to interview employers, nonprofit agencies, and public officials letting veterans and the community know; 1) Who they are, 2) Where they are located, 3) The services or products they offer.

To increase the exposure of Veterans Corner, Greg uses television broadcast stations monthly.

Thank you from a Proud American and Veteran who served his country.
